At first I thought it would be annoying, as I didnt want the bell to ring all day as we went in and out, but now I just plug the indoor piece in at night, or anytime there is reason I want to be alerted and it is perfect. It doesnt alarm me but just gives me notice. Affordable, simple, and effective.

great product a little sensitive to motion but that is what they are supposed to do, 3 stars because the batteries run out pretty quick with this item and the ringer cant be that far away from the sensors, but over all not bad construction easy to use and a huge variety of ringers that come on the device. i use the from security around my boat!
