Once I got the system up and working I love it, but it did take a little while to figure out how to set it up. The instructions could be a little easier to understand.

I received the waterproof door bell and it took more time to gather my drill and screw driver than to actually install the transmitter. The bell works just fine. My wife and I had fun listening to all 52 of the chime variations. The best features of the product are the plug in chime (no more dead batteries), the wide variety of chimes, and the ability to set the volume to desired level. I highly recommend Sadotech.

I bought the model C with the waterproof transmitter. It was great for about 8 months, but after a few days of heavy rain, it stopped working by triggering on its own. I reached out to customer service and they quickly got me a replacement transmitter for only a small shipping charge. Great customer service, I would definitely recommend.

I bought another one! I installed one doorbell outside by my backdoor. The area gets a lot of sunshine and the wall gets quite hot in the summer. It also can get soaked in our crazy rainstorms. This doorbell never seems to mind. Ive had it about 2 years and I love it!There are a lot of sound or ring options. The volume control really gives a nice range. Easy to set the ringtone and twice as easy to install! I use the second loudest setting and I can hear it from my room (65 feet down the hall), but it isnt loud and annoying if youre in the room with the actual unit.I installed the second doorbell in my kids room. Their room is downstairs and when the door is shut they cant hear anything me call for them. I got tired of running up and down the stairs every time I needed their help, so I decided to VonTrapp it! (See The Sound of Music). Now I press the doorbell from my kitchen upstairs and it rings in their room downstairs...a good 40 feet away and through multiple walls. Its awesome! I push a button and they come running! (Anyone who doesnt come within 2 minutes loses electronic time, so theyre well motivated.)Love it! Thanks for a GREAT product!

Instant garbage! Low quality junk! Straight out of the box, this doorbell just simply doesnt work. It will ring at a range of two inches every 5-10 pushes of the button. I replaced the battery with no change in result. Its not constructed well at all. I definitely wasted money, time, and energy.

Works great -- until the battery dies It works just fine right out of the box. But replacing the transmitter battery when required will be an ENORMOUS HASSLE. I cant imagine how they could have made it any more inconvenient. Its pretty much impossible to pop off the cover plate with the included tools." And once you get it off you have to remove two TINY screws AND THE CIRCUIT BOARD to get to the battery. If youve used the adhesive sticker to mount the bells push button transmitter good luck accomplishing all that. It would be easier buy a whole new unit and install it over again. Maybe thats what SadoTech had in mind?"

Great...for one year, then dead The produce is easy to install, has a range of chimes, and worked quite well for a year. Now, 13 months after purchase, it's dead. I realize we can't expect 20 years from a circuit board encased in plastic, but I would expect a few years.

Seems to work, instructions need improving. Works fine - now. When I first installed it, the case wouldnt hold the transmitter unit to the wall. ALMOST returned the unit. Then tried turning the back around - that did the trick. The back looks like it fits on the case in either direction, but it only attaches securely one way. No mention of that in the instructions. Whose tiny print I struggled to read. Anyway - persevere - it will work.

Very good value, easy to install doorbell The doorbell was priced so low that I was skeptical that it would work well. But it does, with clear and loud tones (which can be changed). The bell ringer is easily installed on the door, and the receiver plugs in to a nearby power source. At this price it is hard to make a mistake.

Easy to put up. The matte black is lovely. The hardest thing is changing the tone. Changing the battery may be a bit of a pain. Overall I am very happy and the price is great. I like that you can adjust the volume.

Very poor build quality UPDATE: SadoTech customer service actually reached out to us to offer us a replacement or refund and made things right. Impressed that they stood behind their product.Very poor build quality. We bought this around June of last year and it stopped working in the fall. The transmitter would work intermittently (sometimes it rang, sometimes it didnt). Because of it, wed missed some service appointments and packages that needed a signature when we were home and they rang the doorbell.Not sure how it got such high reviews, but we regret buying this.

Just Chiming In... it really works well. The Sado Tech is the clear winner for both distance and that it works on every button press.A. It has a nice 'click? to the button so you know you've pressed the bell.B. I have a metal gate/door that's approx 50 feet from the outlet where I plugged in the speaker for the wireless doorbells.C. I tried the AVANTEK Wireless doorbell and theHomasy Wireless Doorbell and neither could handle the range or chime consistently when pressed like the Sado Tech does.D. The only minor flaw, and it's minor because it doesn't affect the function, is the clear plastic cover thingy for you to put in a name or number. It gets water in it when it rains and fogs up. (See the pic). Otherwise. Great bell.

Good product so far I like this little wireless bell. We have a small apartment so the volume is perfect. And I like the black matte color. It also has a little space where you can put your names.

This door bell managed to survive some pretty harsh weather. I live in New York where the weather is pretty unprediactble, and this doorbell has survived winter storms and brutal summers. It also was able to stick perfectly. I would highly recommend to anyone who doesnt have a doorbell!

Started working immediately Well, I was very happy with this purchase. It was literally a plug-and-play installation process. It even works through a metal door frame which the instructions say it may not work on metal.

Great product! This is well made. It looks good. It has a small imprint which I like. I thought the sound quality was excellent & I liked all the sound choices. Unit also has volume levels which is nice. It comes with attachments screws & double sided tape. I chose to use the tape & attached it to aluminum siding, so far unit is working well.Supposedly it has a note area, but it is extremely small & I dont know how anyone would know to use it.Overall Im very happy with my purchase & I would definitely recommend it.

DOA DOA - Did not work when received. Receiver worked using the buttons on the side, transceiver button lit when pressed but no matter how close I would bring transceiver and receiver together the chime never sounded when the button was pressed. Returned.

Stopped working after 10 months The great reviews and the minimalist look made this an attractive option. We've had the doorbell for less than a year. It worked great for the first few months and we thought it was totally worth it. However, it stopped working around 6-7 months and would randomly work sometimes after pressing it 5-10 times. Now after about 10 months it has completely stopped working. I would not recommend it for long term use based on my experience. I'm not sure if it was the rain/snow that caused an issue.

Fantastic doorbell We happen to own two homes that are across the street of each other - the distance about 200 feet. The door bell reached between the two homes through 3 walls - one of which was Brick. This door bell worked much better than I expected! Fantastic doorbell with a fantastic price and very EASY to set-up. I was also very impressed w/ their customer service - their customer service reached out to me to ensure that I received the product on time , if I had any questions, and that I was happy w/ their product. I highly recommend this product and the company! Its nice to see a company that is conscientious of their product and their customer service !

Was great while it lasted We received this doorbell in January of 17. Installation was simple, everything was great. About 16 months later, it stopped ringing. I replaced the transmitter battery, but turns out the receiver is dead. It wont chime when it is plugged into an outlet, even when I push the button on the side. So while it worked, it was awesome; dying 16 months later, not so much.**edited to clarify**I did not purchase the protection plan, or this could have been corrected. I am still going to buy another SadoTech doorbell, I am just going to add the protection plan as well. They are amazing for the price, and things go wrong sometimes.

A good choice for wireless doorbell locations So far, so good. Easy installation and after a month, the doorbell still functions in heavy sun/heat. No rain yet to test it further. There are many bell choices and they were a bit tricky at first trying to get that set up but it is up and going now and working well.Update: the doorbell made it through several days of very heavy rain! The plastic piece on the bottom section was full of moisture and I was concerned that that would affect its performance - but no, all is still functioning well several weeks later.

It worked fine for about a year/ got a replacement and no problems so far In about 1 year this unit stopped working. I opened it up and saw a few blown out components. It worked fine for about a year, then out of no where just stopped working. Very low grade components.Updated*** After I put my 1 star review of this doorbell not working, SadoTech reached out to me and sent me out a replacement doorbell that is working just fine.

I needed a wireless doorbell for our new house, since the walls are made of poured concrete (I cant run any wires inside the walls). It makes sound when I push the button, although it went through a spell where it didnt work, but seems to have fixed itself, so I am giving it 3 stars.

Quality not there. Upon arrival doorbell transmitter only worked intermittently. Product returned. Unfortunate quality was so poor as the unit, when it worked, was exactly what I was looking for.

Modern Technology...Got To Love IT This puppy is cool...multiple receivers/bells would be a nice option...especially if you have a larger home...but overall...pretty darn cool. Imagine how nice it is to not have to deal with the wiring necessary for an old school door bell...imagine no longer. (Also if they could create some sort of light to emanate from the bell knob...this would be a plus.....perhaps the stuff of old watches so at least at night it glows?)

Im convinced this is the best wireless doorbell out there Its been a year and this wireless doorbell is still working. I placed it on the outside of our warehouse dock door to let me know when I had a UPS-type delivery person needing to deliver. This gadget has saved all our delivery people many steps and although the button is screwed tight to the outside of the door and has been subjected to every type of weather in the midwest, it is still working. Today I am ordering replacement batteries to replace the one battery in the button unit. Great purchase for little cost. Well worth the few dollars it cost.

GREAT product! Get the waterproof remote if you plan to use/mount the doorbell button outside, un... GREAT product. This is my 2nd SadoTech Model C wireless doorbell. I take the wireless remote with me and our cat when I go out to my hot tub in case of an emergency and/or to notify my wife if/when one of our cats is ready to come back in. The first SadoTech wireless doorbell I got worked great until the remote got water in it, sometimes it rains while Im in the hot tub. I was able to take it apart and clean it up a few times, but after awhile it just had enough. This waterproof remote is GREAT, no issues, works every time!

Perfect doorbell A perfect doorbell for a small price. We built a large fence around our property. The entrance has a brick wall and ornamental locking gates. We were concerned that people, mainly delivery services, could not get to our front door for deliveries. The doorbell works perfectly and was simple to set up. Our house sits back from the doorbell about 50 feet (see photos) and weve had no problems hearing it. It has many options to choose from as far as ring tone, more than is needed I think. We did not screw it into the brick wall, we simply used the sticky tape that is included. The doorbell stuck on perfectly and has a strong adhesion. It has been through several rainy days and is definitely waterproof. We have had it up for four weeks now and couldnt be happier with it. If any complaints, the only thing I can think of is I wish it came in black instead of white only.

I love this wireless doorbell I love this wireless doorbell. The push button fits perfectly where the previous wired doorbell push button was. It is a little wider but easy to see. It requires a 12V 23A button battery, and it comes with a mini driver. The instruction says it is waterproof. The receiver is a small and plug-in type. It doesnt occupy outlets. The receiver has a volume control and says 52 choices of music/chimes. I have not explored all 52 yet. It is reasonable in price, easy to install, and the option of paring transmitters. I think it is a good buy.

You have to press and hold the button hard as you can and if you're lucky, it'll work. Should of went with something else, when I get my new one, this ones getting pitched.

The absolute best thing about this product is the customer support aspect. The doorbell itself has a nice appearance and is easy to mount. The ringer is loud enough that you will hear it. I did get the 3M 4011 Exterior Mounting Tape to mount it. Easy to do!!

Very happy with purchase Weve been using this doorbell for several months with no problems at all. Volume is adjustable to three levels, from quiet to quite loud. Its easy to adjust the ring tone, just a little annoying that you have to cycle through all of them & cant go directly to the one you want. But given the ease of installation & reliability, were very happy with this purchase.

Been working great for six months! I wanted to get a doorbell for my apartment, and got this. It works really well, it sends a signal all the way through my apartments giant metal front door. I appreciate how many ringtones it has, but Im not a fan of very many of them. I got the waterproof one because it rains pretty frequently where I live, so far I have had no issues with it, and havent needed to replace the batteries after six months.

Great minus one annoying flaw Id give it five stars except the ring selector is a single button that you have to press to scroll through some 50 rings to get back to the start. Otherwise, its quick and easy to setup and use.
