LIKED IT, BUT IT BROKE I really liked this product at first. It was just what I needed to help care for my invalid wife. But after about a week the belt clip broke so I carried it in my pocket - still worked. Then after about six weeks it quit working altogether. I replaced all the batteries, but still doesnt work.

Affordable solution that works as intended We needed a way to page staff when working out of the office. Set is working perfectly. AC receiver goes off in our house about 70 yards away from the office. Really easy to set up and connect other receivers. Customer service from this company is excellent and fast. We have purchased additional receivers, both wireless and A/C, to use with the system. It fits our needs for our small business.

Client presses the button and the two portables go off (we bought one extra portable), as well as the plug-in receiver unit we put in the wash bay. So, no matter where the techs are, they are aware they are needed up front!

Great for those with limited vision and hearing! I like that this doorbell has multiple ways of getting your attention. My 85 year old mother in law has trouble hearing and seeing, so the vibration of the device gives an extra way to make sure she realizes someone is at the door. The setup was pretty easy as well.

Great for elderly people Bought for my elderly parents to use as a means of getting my Dads attention when my Mother needs him. He has poor hearing and when he is in a different room he can't hear her call him. Now all she has to do is push a button and he can hear the chime. When he is outside he wears the clip on alarm and it works perfectly to get his attention. This is just what we needed.

Vibration stopped working after a month I bought this for my 93 year old hearing impaired aunt. It worked fine for about a month then just stopped vibrating but the door bell still worked. It was a waste of money for me because the vibration was the main feature that was needed.

easy to set up Received this today, easy to set up, and simple to mount on outside stucco wall with the supplied industrial strength double sided adhesive pad. This is a 3 piece set. Before mounting, I tested the mobile receiver with my hard of hearing hubby in his lower floor man cave. 3 stories down and he heard the bell and felt the vibration on his mobile receiver. Its operated by a battery, and he can set the unit to vibrate and/or just emit a sound he can hear. It has a volume control, so he can adjust to what his hearing difficulty is. I absolutely love that I can plug in the standard receiver anywhere I want. I went with the stairs landing by the front door, so I could hear it on the two floors Im always on. The plug in unit has volume control, a light that flashes, and you can decide on one out of over 50 melodies for the chime. We went with a regular doorbell chime, but it also has Christmas songs, Happy Birthday, I think I heard a few pieces of classical music, etc. Very nice, I am happy with set up and ease of use. Hoping it lasts for a while.

I would highly recommend this product I needed a doorbell with blinking light and no sound for my office. I went through three different types of inexpensive wireless doorbells and each one of them gave up on me within 3 months or less. This system has been working flawlessly for more than a year already, and is still going strong. Also, Ive inquired about the expansion (extra button), and got a very fast reply from Customer service. And thats precious! I would highly recommend this product.

Great for elderly mother This is a wonderful product for my elderly, blind mother who cant always hear her doorbell. She can carry the vibrating ringer with her anywhere in her house. She used to leave her door open because she couldnt hear the bell. Now shes much safer. Wonderful customer service. When I had a problem with the first one I received, they quickly sent me a replacement.

Great product , I dont particularly use the plug in lights, its not bright enough to Alert a deaf person, I use the portable reciever Alone that vibrates when doorbell has rung. If the company is considering some improvement,I would suggest strobing light on the plug in reciever. Light flashes on the portable. Would also have been neat so I dont have to wear it all the time :)

Great Product This is a great tool for paging my front of the house staff. it has a flashing light that does not make a sound. or I can do a sound as well as the flashing light.

After purchasing this model, I did have an issue, but Josue was very communicative and replaced the plug in unit after we troubleshooted. Also purchased this for my parents!!

Worth the peace of mind My parents were pleased with their surprise gift of this system. Mom wont wear hear aids. The bicycle horn dad was using to call for her help just wasnt doing the job. Mom set her receiver to medium and says it is plenty loud. Dad keeps the doorbell button in his pocket. I chose this because it was designed for seniors and their needs and the receiver had three different settings for loudness. So far, everyone is very pleased.

Good customer service I had a little problem with the transmitter not working but I wrote the company and they got back to me immediately and gave me some hints on how to reset and repair the transmitter and now it is working great! It was a hit!! Purchased this for Fathers Day Gift. IT WAS A HIT! My father is hard of hearing but with the flashing light, 52 tunes to choose fromand very nice volume control he will not miss a delivery again! And what a BONUS that it includes a portable receiver...he can take itout back and still wont miss a visitor. Super easy to install and looks great. Hoped to use as a pager for invalid family member.Out of the box, vibrations not as strong as I would have liked.Plug in receiver had a dim blue light, which was on constantly, blinked when button pressed. After 24 hours, plug in unit was dead, no light, nothing.i would not recommend this unit for those depending on light or vibrations.No idea how the audible alarm performs.

I put the receiver in the back workroom, and have the pager available for staff who need to go and do work in the stacks. This way, someone at the desk can just push the button, and page anyone who is either in the back workroom or in the stacks to come help if we have a line at the desk. The quiet vibration and quiet tone options work great in a library. It took me a long time to find a product that had all these features -- range, vibration, wireless, pager, and unobtrusive tone. This product is perfect for my library staff!

A great Door Bell with many uses I installed this in my neighbors house because his dog sits by my fence and barks all night. Now when that dog barks I just press the button and the flashing light and door bell sound wakes him up and he can shout SHUT UP" out his window which wakes up the neighbors on the other side of his house and they call animal control. Then he gets a citation which results in him keeping the dog in his house at night for a few days and blames it on the other neighbor instead of me. works great I couldnt be more happy with this."

We purchased for my Mom, who wears hearings aids but does not always hear somebody knocking. Now, we are thankful that she can either hear the doorbell or see it flashing. We definitely recommend this item if you are considering a doorbell for somebody hearing impaired.

Good service Worked perfectly for 5 months of heavy use. We use it for customer service in our farm store, open every day all day. The bell on the portable receiver stopped working, though it still vibrated. Sadotech was very responsive by email, and after a few back an forth troubleshooting emails, shipped a new receiver, even though I couldnt send the half-functional bell back as I was still relying on it. Have tried several brands over the years, this is the best so far.

Works for us as it should Ordered this for my mom to use and buzz" for me when needed. She recently moved into my home under hospice care and needs assistance in the middle of the night with using bathroom. She keeps button next to her bed and I wear vibrating pager on my waistband at night. It has worked like a charm each time. Have not used the plug in piece of equipment because I dont have the need."

Finally - one that can visually alert OR auditory alert Easy to use, prompt delivery and I was able to set up in 5 minutes. I used this in an office where I wanted a flashing alert only (no sound), so not to disturb a testing situation, but also to alert the person administering the test that someone was at the door - this was the perfect solution. This makes life a lot easier if you work in any type of therapy/assessment office, or with deaf or hard-of-hearing employees.

Awesome product! This was the perfect fit for my door bell needs! The bell plugs into AC outlet close to me 80-100 feet away and has chime, chime with flash or flash only setting. The clip on rides with my staff and rings twice and vibrates about 8-10 times giving you time to realize its vibrating. Thank you! Recommended!

My 86 year old dad has the doorbell plugged in the hall at shoulder height. So its positioned to where the flashing light faces the opposite side of the hall. He can see the side of the doorbell from his recliner, which sits on one end of the hall. But when the doorbell flashes, he cant see any light. The light doesnt illuminate the hall at all and the hall is dark. The doorbell needs to be facing him directly in order for him to see the flashing blue light. Thats disappointing. The light seems bright when looking straight at it, but thats abt it. Luckily though, he says the vibrating receiver is loud enough that he can actually hear the door bell ring even when its sitting on a shelf near his head, even with his TV ear phones on. He said he can feel the vibration pretty good when he has it on him. Said its handy being able to carry it from room to room and that its really nice being able to know, to hear, when someone is at the front door. He really needs a few more flashing receivers. If I got him more, would it be possible to sync them all together?

A wonderful tool for caregivers! Great for caregivers! We are using it for my mother-in-law to ring when she needs to get up. We can hear all through the house, especially during the night. The vibrating clip-on is great for working in the yard and you cant hear the bell.

A great product We bought this for my mother-in-law who is almost completely deaf and it is great. She now knows when someone is at the door. Before this, if she was expecting someone to visit, she would leave her door unlocked and just tell them to come right in. Since she lives alone out in the country we didnt think this was safe. This has given us peace of mind and she is very happy with it also.

So so. If you think you will feel the vibrating alert, think again. So if you counting on the portable units vibration, it is VERY WEAK! I purchased two of these devices, the plug in doorbell / flashing units are loud and bright. They are fine. I am disappointed in both portable devices. They just dont work for me.

Works great as caregivers call bell I needed an easy way for my elderly parent to ring for assistance. After a long search, I chose this model of Sado Tech specifically for the wireless button, wireless chime/vibrator receiver, and a plug-in flashing/bell receiver. I use both receivers. It works wonderfully. I now can take care of other things in the house or yard. When he needs assistance, he just hits the button (kept in his shirt pocket).I no longer have to hover, which makes us both happy!The instructions says the chime melody can be changed. I havent bothered to try.

Works beautifully This product works beautifully. Flashing light gets my attention even when bright sunshine is coming into my house from the windows. My house is about 1,000 square feet (single floor) and the unit is placed in a central location. The personal pager is very useful for when Im in the backyard. I already had an electrical outlet at eye-level (probably intended for an electric clock), so all I had to do was plug it in. Very satisfied. Im very hard of hearing and chimes are good for both me and hearing members of household.

Incredible value I purchased this as a gamble because I was not sure if the transmitter would penetrate a heavy sound-proof steel door. Much to my surprise, it worked and works flawlessly. The receiver has several distinctive ring tones and classical music ring tones, and several volume levels. You can also turn off the ring tone and use only the flasher. The flasher light is rather dim, but it does work. This is a wonderful, reliable unit, and the belt clip remote is a great idea and very, very handy. Highly recommended!
