Senior Help alarm I cannot praise this product enough! For the price its worth every penny!! The setup is so easy, and the range it has is perfect for our situation. My Grandmother, who lives alone now, has a tendency to get off balance and is at risk for falls. My parents, who live on the same property, can now rest easy knowing she has the wireless alarm around her neck at all times, should she fall, or have an emergency, and they will know! My grandmother doesnt have to carry her cellphone everywhere anymore! She has the plug in alarm button in her bathroom for when she is showering should she fall she has that option as well (obviously she isnt wearing the lanyard while she showers). My parents have the noise alarm plug in, in the center of their home, so they can hear it loud and clear throughout. It works better than I expected Works perfectly, and through masonry walls, so the signal goes beyond what I expected, and the receiver was put far away from the ring. I just wish the ring had a wrist version, so it's not left behind.

Useless as a pager Useless as a pager. Both buttons only worked if they were within a few feet of the pager. Went and bought new batteries , in case that was the problem, but it didnt make any difference.

Unit gets HOT. POOR BATTERY LIFE. WEARABLE UNIT IS VERY CHEAPLY MADE Its loud. It helped when mom fell so it has paid for itself BUT the batteries were dead when it was unboxed. When the extra three were installed the lanyard unit became so hot it was dangerous. Installed three NEW batteries and the tiny screw broke the plastic housing holding it together, had to tape the donut together. Two days later the batteries are dead again. Would not advise anyone to buy this.

Well shortly after starting to use it (within one day) that no longer worked as well. I did just as the instructions said and "synced" all of the items together. Our house is very small so the distance should not have been an issue at all."

Stopped Working - Twice I bought this twice - the first time, it stopped working within a few weeks of receiving it and I returned it for the same item. I figured it was just a fluke. The concept is great and my 88 year old mother found it easy to use. It definitely helped her call for her caregiver when she needed help. However, I returned the first one and bought it again, but now this one has stopped working. Unfortunately, I am 4 days out of my return window so were stuck with a product that doesnt work and Im out the $$. There were mixed reviews, so I took a chance, unfortunately, my gamble didnt pay off. Ugh...

'SOS? button does not work The 'door bell? is good and loud. The door bell button works fine. The 'SOS? button did not work at all, even after replacing the batteries. Keeping it because we really need it so my elderly mother-in-law can let us know if she needs help. Maybe I just got a faulty unit, or maybe it's just poor quality in general. Either way, I'm not entirely happy.

Excellent SOS device, but became unreliable after 6 months. I purchased this item for my elderly father who had a stroke and wasnt able to call for help when he needed assistance. We looped the help pendant onto the hospital bed rail and installed the doorbell in the bathroom. Both are always within reach when needed. The round pendant is easy to activate with a light squeeze even by someone with dexterity issues. My dad is hard of hearing and he likes the blinking light feedback that tells him that the pendant has been activated, particularly at night. The install was super easy and it worked well out of the box. We installed the base upstairs which is a reasonable distance away from the help pendant and the push button. The system has worked reliably for 6 months, the bell is very loud, and can be heard throughout the house. Replacing the batteries requires tiny tools, really good eyesight and steady hands with good dexterity - battery replacement could very difficult for elders. I subtracted one star because after six months its become a bit unreliable. We replaced all of the batteries, but its still inconsistent and now the pendant blinks all the time. In general its a very good product for the price, but I recommend buying a back-up if you plan on using this for any extended period of time.

Love it! My son and I share a split level. This is my second sadotech and now we each have a doorbell and dont have to run up or down to see who its for. I also have health issues so keep the sos button nearby. Havent had to use it but it does give me a sense of security because its awful to fall and not be able to yell loud enough for help.

When he squeezes the SOS Donut the plug-in alarms (we have placed around the house) sound and we head straight to his assistance! The alarms have volume control and multiple different tone selections. No WIFi, no Bluetooth, no remote signaling...just for the home. And it works GREAT!

She wears her necklace 24/7 in the house to alert me when she needs to get up for the bathroom or when she wants something.Keeps my anxiety down when Im working around the house and dont have eyes on her.Ive electrical taped the stationary button to her bed rail so that she activates it when she wakes up (not foolproof, but it makes it harder for her to sneak out of bed without supervision or her prosthetic leg).The receiver is pretty loud at max volume and has a great variety of sounds. We have ours set to a little melody as opposed to a jarring alarm sound. It picks up on the necklace anywhere in the house and on the porch.

Order extra LR44 batteries! This device has worked quite well for us, reliably allowing an elderly family member to call for assistance over the length of our fairly long house. Were finding that a set of three LR44 batteries for the necklace lasts a week or two and they are fairly expensive if purchased in the local drugstore. Ive found a 15-pack here on Amazon to be a much better deal.

The receiver will play many types of chimes/tunes and has adjustable volume. The round transmitter is very user friendly for our patient. We also bought a second receiver, one for our bedroom and one for the main living area. I am VERY glad I bought this.

Works I used this in a sickroom and it worked great. Its quite loud, and you can put the button up anywhere. The button was in the bedroom and the bell was in the living room, maybe 30 feet apart, and there was no problem.

Decent buzzer for the price, good range. Needs an option for wrist wear, and doesnt offer safety lanyard when wearing around the neck. Otherwise, the buzzer chime is pretty loud and my grandmother has no problem working the neck button to let us know she needs something. A better option would be to include a spiral bungee key ring - the type librarians have, and affix the donut button to it. My grandmother would find it easier, and it would be safer on her arm.

Using it to communicate with caregiver from family members bedroom, especially useful night. Ridiculously easy to install and use. Front doorbell is not working, so I put the transmitter there, the receiver in main part of house, and of course the call button is with the patient. Having it on his person is easier to use than reaching for call buttons in hospital and he can use it when not in bed as well. Hoping I can get yet another receiver to plug into a different part of house.FLASH - I found a different doorbell by the same maker that does come with 2 receivers for separate places in the house - happily ordered it for when we no longer need the caregiver call button.

Poor battery life When I first received this, I was pleased at ow the wireless doorbell remote worked. The plug in part is easy to move from room to room. We use the doorbell as a call system for my elderly mother.What I am frustrated with is the round call system that can hang around the neck while in the shower. Out of the box, the lights were blinking on it and ultimately the batteries died died within a month. I contacted Sado Tech and they were great - sending me new batteries within a week or so. Now here we are 5 weeks later and the batteries are dead again! This is nuts. Its only used 2x/week and shouldnt be draining the batteries. Based on this, I would not recommend this product.

Great product with incredible range. A few weeks ago my 93 yr old grandpater who i care for had a fall in his section of my house and i didnt hear him for about 2 hours after. I thought i would try this so that didnt happen again. The remote has incredible rance. Im in the basement on one end and he is upstairs on the other wnd of a 4000 sq ft house and it works everytime. I even walked 80 ft or so outside to the garden and it worked like a charm signaling the receiver in the basement.If i had one complaint its that the alarm only rings twice which is great for a doorbell but i would rather it keep ringing without needing to be pressed again for a panic alarm. Great product i would definitly recommend if you live with an elderly person in a large house..Also the necklace isnt near as big as it looks in the picture, my pap is technically challanged but he picked this up right away.

Peace of mind My 87 year old Mom uses this whenever she needs anything as she stays on the 3rd floor. When Im in the lower level I never worry that her needs arent going unnoticed. She loves it. Unfortunately, She likes testing it on us as a joke to see how fast we respond! :-/ LOL

Great as pager system for elderly This system works great in our home with an elderly parent. We attached the button to Moms bedside table with velcro. She isnt independently mobile and always has someone near, so she doesnt wear the pendant, but we hung it on the wall on the other side of her bed. The receiver rings nice and loudly (and volume is adjustable). It plugs right into a wall outlet and is easy to move from place to place. I highly recommend this set! I do wish it was possible to get a second receiver for the same call button so that we could keep one on each floor, but thats not available right now. You could use two sets but would have to switch out the call button/pendant for each one. We just take the receiver upstairs at night and bring it back down in the morning.

We live right next door and are able to bring each of their meals over and check in/visit with them numerous times throughout the day. This is great for those times when we arent there. In a matter of seconds, now we are. This product saved my grandfathers life twice. Its also extremely easy for my grandmother with dementia to use on her bad days when she cant remember how to operate the phone. This product along with the family service radios, wifi infrared cameras, and motion sensors make it possible for them to stay in familiar surroundings: maintaining as much independence as possible. We have essentially created an assisted living" home for them that meets all of their needs including safety. The necklace has been placed next to my grandfathers favorite chair on the side table. This is perfect since he likes to watch A LOT of Fox News in that chair. It also has the lanyard that allows him to be mobile with it as he moves throughout the house and to the bathroom in particular. It is important that he still have his privacy and independence as well as the help if/when he needs it. The other doorbell has been placed by his bedside. This is the one that was pushed in the middle of the night and allowed us to get him immediately to the hospital when he was struggling with regaining his oxygen level after a trip to the bathroom. His mind is sharp but his emphazema COPD and pulmonary fibrosis have made life challenging even with his oxygen assist. In short this is great! Make sure that the range will work for your situation. It has worked perfectly for ours."

Caregiver Call Button - Works Great Works great. I bought this for my 80 year old father who sleeps in a different room than his caregiver. When he needs help, he just has to press either the necklace button or the permanently mounted button. The receiver then rings in the caregivers room. It has a doorbell ringing sound which is loud and is much more pleasant than a buzzer sound. The only challenge has been convincing my father to keep the necklace on.

Wonderful device Excellent device I bought it for my 90 year old mother who used it twice the first day An excellent way of us keeping in touch in the house no matter where she is, or where I am. Now I dont have to worry that I might not hear her. I put the receiver in the middle of the house so I can hear it from any room, including the basement. Variety of uses My daughter is multiple handicapped and as such requires close care. She sleeps in a respirator similar to the old iron lungs and has no way to contact us except thru hollering which isnt practical so we use the Sado doorbell inside her respirator and when she pushes it we have it pluged in our hall way so we can hear it when sleeping and when we are in our kitchen and living room. Its working perfectly and also the donut necklace provides safe communication when she is outside. A great little piece of equipment!

Serves its purpose but limited radio and audible ranges. The range is not sufficient to activate the receiver from the upstairs bedroom to the downstairs office and the sound of the receiver is great in the office but is barely audible one room away. By placing the receiver in a downstairs hall, it is adequate.

Nice loud easy to set up well made product. Its loud and I can hear it throughout the house and our large yard. Thank god we havent needed it.
