We use the system as an alarm for my wife who has Parkinson's. The button is in a zip lock hanging from a lanyard. The plug in receiver is next to my pillow as I am hard of hearing. Receiver is set for long ring and at the top volume. I have several battery operated receivers that strewn around the house.

What a great product this is! It's literally plug and chug so to speak. And it looks great.
I think it took 5 minutes to setup. It took longer to find a doorbell tone that we liked than it did to plug the receiving unit into an outlet and stick double sided tape onto the back of the button.
I wish everything could be that easy.

I was so proud of myself for ordering this and “installing it” myself. Course all you have to do is stick it on the wall outside your door and plug in the rest of it inside. But I’m 74 years old so I guess I can be proud! It sounds really nice and I made it nice and soft so my dogs don’t bark when it rings.

Stopped working after one year
After one year, the doorbell stopped working. Isn’t the batteries, as the light works when pressed. This is the second doorbell; the first one didn’t work from the get-go and I was sent a replacement , the current one. Will they replace this one, or is there a fix?

I absolutely love it. It does great on our upstairs apartment. Best I have ever used.After using it 3 months it quit working. I contacted seller and recieved an e-mail asking some questions. I answered the questions and sent e=mail back. I guess they never got it because I got another e-mail saying that if they didnt hear from me, they would consider the matter closed. By the time I say it, I had missed their deadline. I am very disappointed

I love this doorbell. Just plug in and choose your tone (over a dozen to chose from) and volume. The transmitter just screws in wherever you want it and is very stylish and sturdy.If you wanted, you can add more receivers in case you have a large house, but one was enough for out 1300 Sq ft two story.

Ive had it since Feb. 1 and Ive replaced batteries 2x already and it STOPPED WORKING AGAIN! What a piece of garbage. Dont go there!

I purchased this doorbell as a replacement for the doorbell I purchased at Home Depot, which only worked some of the time. This one is brilliant! It works withonly a gentle push of the button and there is no trouble with the distance to the outlet it is plugged in two stories up from the door. The volume adjustment is also really great and I can hear it loud and clear from every room. High quality product, I’m very happy with this purchase.

I bought this for my friend who didnt have any doorbell. Its a very handy doorbell. Of course, you cannot compare it to a wired doorbell, but it works great for its price. I wouldnt recommend it for a big, big house. However, its perfect for small houses, apartments as well as for classrooms.

Im very hard of hearing and cant hear knocks on the door when Im not in the front of my condo. The installation took seconds as I used the tape to attach the buzzer to my door jamb. I had a neighbor press the buzzer and I could hear it at the furthest room away (Its approx 1000 sq. ft, ringer set in outlet about 200 ft in). Cant speak on battery life or durability yet, its only been a couple of months.

We bought the door bell and received only 4 months of actual work from it. During that 4 months, we had to replace the battery once before the door bell actually broke. The button no longer depresses but the indoor sounder still works. We have attempted different batteries three times now, but the outside button no longer depresses. Super frustrating.

I bought this for my classroom and raved about it. The sound was loud, I love the different rings. It worked very well as an attention getter. A month later it stopped working. I thought it was just the battery on the remote. I replaced the battery. Still not working. Wish I can find a replacement remote without buying the whole thing again.

Dead on arrival
Received the doorbell and started getting it ready for install. The receiver seems to work fine and is really loud on its loudest setting. Sounds quality is fine and there are plenty of chimes to choose from. Our issue began when I tried to pair the transmitter with the receiver. The receiver will go into pairing mode but the transmitter isnt working. The light wont light up at all on it and the battery tests fine. Not sure what is wrong with it, so it will probably go back to Amazon.

Plug it in to an unused outlet, attach the ring button outside your door and your done. I bought two, the second was for my home in Fiji where 220v is the standard, works great both in USA and Fiji. Sound quality and volume are great with plenty of ring options. This is a very nice, well priced option when you need to replace your doorbell. Significantly better than the much pricier option I used last time from the local hardware store.

I have an office in one of the back bedrooms in my home. I do not hear the normal doorbell ring, while I am working.I therefore put the new doorbell on the other side of the door and high up. A small sticker below it says For friends ONLY.Yesterday an electrician was coming by to install a new thermostat. He was not sure of what time. I told him to ring the white doorbell high on the right. Worked perfectly!John said he was going to buy one for his mother. She is quite deaf but will see the flashing blue light!

No one seems to know its there! I wish I could love this doorbell but no one seems to know its there at night since it does not light up. We have it next to the door but for some reason people dont see it. Maybe it blends into our white house ?
