One of my three receivers quit working, so I ordered this as a replacement. The new one works fine, and I enjoy the entire system. I have a receiver on each of the three floors of my house, and I use two different tones for the two doors, so even if I am upstairs, I know which door to answer.

I bought an extra SadoTech Model CX Waterproof Wireless Doorbell to put in my kitchen since one I bought from Amazon is in my living room. Now I have two CX Waterproof Wireless Doorbells, and two transmitters (one for front door and one for kitchen back door). Each transmitter can be setup to have a unique ringtone from both doorbells simultaneously when pressed so I now know which door needs to be opened from anywhere within my house. Both doorbells and transmitters look so fascinating and lovely. Their setup is easy, only take 15 minutes or so. The prices of them are very reasonable. If the doorbell sound volume could be louder, it would be even better.

We are using 2 of these in a 100+ year old building. One unit is on the 1st floor, and the other is on the 2nd, floor. Both work fine in our old building !

It was nice to give staff a little color in their masks.

As a low-tech guy living in a high-tech world, I had to choose between a very hot spider filled attic to replace a 20 year old doorbell transformer and purchasing the most amazingly simple and fantastic wireless doorbell system. We love being able to plug in a doorbell in each end of a very long home as well as have a remote doorbell receiver for times we are in the pool area. Additionally, the motion detector eliminates the problem we've had with delivery personnel leaving packages on the porch without ringing or knocking on the door. In short, it is an awesome system worth every penny! PS: Love the multiple ring options, especially the seasonal rings. Can't wait for the Christmas season to try it out.

In perfect condition and same as original units

This is my second unit. The receiver stopped working after a few years so I hope this one will last a longer period of time. I really like how these units work, and the fact that you can have 52 different bell sounds.

My Doorbell receiver suddenly stopped working, after many months of satisfactory service. I inquired about assistance and the SadoTech customer support staff kindly offered a replacement receiver at no cost. The staff was most helpful in communicating and updating my progress. I received the replacement within 7 days of its shipping and all is working fine. Many thanks to Sadotech for their help.

The new receivers are more reliable to pair to the new transmitter, as the previous receivers would not enter pairing mode. Customer service is exceptional, as they replaced the previous receivers to work with the new transmitter.

Ordered a waterproof doorbell and two receiver/sounders, to add to current not-completely-identified system of one water resistant doorbell+two receiver/sounders. Found out the current receivers do NOT pair with another doorbell, sounds selection different. Suspected as much, as new receivers have a 'star' on the front and the current receivers don't. ALSO did not like that these operate near 433.9 MHz; that is the middle of a popular Amateur Radio band in this metropolitan area and interference will have no useful compensation (i.e. amateurs operating in legal manner can still cause interference, they have that right to use the frequencies). Still, I might get two other 'star' receivers and another doorbell for this office location.

I use it with a motion sensor and press button and it works well. Happy with my purchase.

We live in an apartment that's about 70 feet long. My wife is very hard of hearing and often was unable to hear the door bell that we had. So I installed the Sado-Tech CXR plus 2 extra receivers all through the apt. and now she can hear when someone is at the door no matter where she is in the apt.

Added this unit as the third receiver ... works fine!

I did not realize until I read the little, tiny, fine print brochure that came with these that an installation height of 3 feet is recommended. Since I don't have many receptacles at that height, I was glad they worked a the lower height. I placed a unit in the greenhouse, the garage, the back of the house, and the main foyer. I love so many ring and volume choices.

Bought 7 recievers for our dog kennel so we will be able to hear customers wherever we are and over the noise of our boarders. They are working great so far.

Works well easy to install. Volume could be a bit louder. My error was purchasing all three as plug ins; i really should have purchased at least one battery operated doorbell. Otherwise not bad.

This is an amazing doorbell, it works great, it's easy to set up, it has pretty good choices for the chimes, AND the price is extremely good. The design is simple, it plugs in so no batteries necessary. Need I say more? I am really impressed.

Whats most important to know is that the chimes sounds are easy to set up. We ordered the two doorbell, two chime package plus ordered one extra chime. My husband decided to paint all the units a wood-grain color to blend in. The Doorbells work great and the chimes were set for different sounds for the back doorbell and the front one so we can tell which was rung by our visitors. The chimes ring loudly if you pick a loud musical sound; we did. There are many choices. We are extremely happy with our purchase.

You will take longer trying to determine which of the many sounds you want to use. If you are installing on multiple doors order a transmitter unit for each door and program each door with a different sound so you will know exactly which door to answer. Also you can use more than one receiver in the event you have multiple levels. Then when someone rings your chime you will be sure to hear it!"

Cheap Plastic Piece of Junk. I ordered the package with one transmitter/doorbell and 2 receiver/chimes, and separately ordered an extra receiver chime because I needed to place chimes in 3 spots since we have a large house on multiple levels.The transmitter/doorbell was placed next to our front door where it is completely protected from rain, sun and wind. The 3 receiver/chimes were plugged into outlets at various points inside the house, in areas that are not too far from the front door.The transmitter/doorbell went out after only a few months of very light use due to a manufacturing defect. I purchased a new battery, which turned out to be a waste of 5 dollars since it still did not work. The manufacturer initially did not want to send me a new transmitter/doorbell until I jumped through a bunch of hoops and answered several dumb questions. The first thing they told me was to replace the battery. Well ... duh ... who is going to call before replacing the battery? Eventually, the manufacturer relented after I proved to them that the problem was a defective transmitter/doorbell. They sent me another transmitter/doorbell which was not defective.Today one of the 3 receiver/chimes inside our home went dead due to a manufacturing defect. Although I tested the outlet and it was fine I tried moving it to various locations in the house with no luck. It is just beyond the 1 year manufacturer??s warranty period. Uggggh! Im stuck because to start over and purchase a completely new system from a competent manufacturer will cost a lot of money. So I bit the bullet and ordered one more receiver/chime to replace the defective one.Heres my prediction: the other 2 receiver/chimes that I purchased at the beginning will go out soon; the new one I ordered today will go out in just over a year.

Easy set up and great customer service!! I bought this wireless doorbell because my new house didnt have one. I didnt want to go through the trouble of having to wire up a new one. I looked at wireless doorbells at all the big box stores and none of them had the sound I had wanted. I had done some searching online and found these wireless doorbells to be exactly what I wanted. I watched the Youtube video and was impressed with how many sounds they had in one doorbell. I ordered them and they arrived within a few days. However, upon setting them up it didnt play any of the sounds I had heard in the video. I contacted Sadotech and they were very helpful. I simply mailed my system back to them (at my cost) and they mailed me a new one with the dingtones I was looking for. Easy install, two screws and plug in two chimes in different outlets to ensure I can hear it anywhere in the house. I would recommend this wireless doorbell system to anyone who wants ease of use, ease of installation and great customer support.

Dont waste your money on this product. Not angry, just very disappointed with all of the hype ar... This item has been installed for three months and now receivers dont work. Supposed to be the best but now useless as a door bell. Transmitters transmit that someone pushed the doorbell but the receivers either make no sound at all or only intermittently. Unless someone is ready to step up and replace it with units that work, a person would be foolish to buy it unless they just wanted it for an ornament in an outlet. Very disappointed with product. Not compared to other products as this one was touted as the best with multiple receivers from a single transmitter, thus other products not purchased.

Great product support This works as advertised. The only down side is that are so many songs that it takes a long time to cycle through them, and you can only go in one direction. I started with the battery-operated version, but it went through batteries too fast. This unit stopped working after about 10 months. SadoTech replaced it promptly, but I had to send them a video illustrating that it didnt work.

STARPOINT Extra Add-On Plugin Receiver This item works perfectly with our other add on items from Starpoint for an Office Door bell security system.

Worked good for 6 months and then one unit stopped working. I bought this unit to replace the one I had that stopped working. The first Sado doorbell I bought only had to receivers and I then talked to the Sado Tech and found I had purchased one that was not expandable. So I gave that one to my neighbor and bought the Starpoint. It worked fine for about six months then I noticed on of the units no longer worked. So I purchased a replacement. I figured it was cheaper than mailing it back. I do not even know how long the warranty is. I do know the price is right and Amazon got here the next day. So I am happy now that all 3 of my devices work and I can hear the doorbell from anywhere in the house. I still like the unit. I must have just had one that was bad.

Nice sound, easy installation, and great customer service! This is a revised review. After I complained in a review about two receiver units that failed, each one when they were 8-9 months old; Sado customer service reached out to me. After we went over my order history, and how much I in fact really liked the units (they are playing Jingle Bells this week) they made every effort to satisfy the issue. The defective units were replaced, and they were some of the nicest folks I have ever contacted about a defective product.

SadoTech Wireless Doorbell The product worked beautifully as described until recently when the transmitter button failed to send messages to the ringer despite having a viable battery. Much to the credit of SadoTech they agreed to send a replacement unit. Its rare these days to find a company that stands behind their product as well as SadoTech; extraordinary customer service. They worked great until recently In May 2017 I bought the doorbell with two (2) receivers (ringers) and two (2) transmitters (doorbells.) I also bought one (1) ringer that is battery powered for our rear screened porch. They worked great until recently. One of the plug-in receivers and the battery powered receiver stopped working. When I looked at the battery compartment I realized that a battery had leaked a little so I cleaned the contacts and it worked again.Not sure what to do about the plug-in receiver as it is totally nonresponsive. Plugged in, it doesnt chime, light up, nothing. I suppose I could just buy a replacement plug-in receiver but it seems like less than six (6) months after purchase is awfully early for a total failure like this. I just contacted Sado Tech and well see what they are willing to do for me. Ill update this review after I hear back from them...

Broken in 6 Months! We loved this for our small law firm initially -- but just 6 months later, it no longer works. We cannot figure out any rhyme or reason for why it stopped working, but we have been unsuccessful in getting it fixed. Very frustrating to have to shop around again, just 6 months later!

PLug in works much better than battery. I love this chime. Please do use the plug-in. The battery units go dead very quickly. They do ned to improve the way you choose a tune, though.

Problem solved! I like the fact that you can buy components of this doorbell system as well as the whole kit. This one works through a concrete block wall to signal use of our wheelchair ramp at our church. We glued the doorbell button to the metal door frame outside and the bell works fine, plugged into an outlet inside the building and twelve feet from the door. Perfect!

Very happy with doorbells and SadoTechs response to problem Doorbell system was easy to set up. One of the chime units stopped working after about 6 months. I contacted SadoTech. They quickly responded and asked me to record a short video (which I easily did on my phone) so that they could see what the problem was. They immediately had a new unit sent out to us. We had it installed and working within a week of my initial problem report.

Great help from Sado Tech I needed to add on another unit for my mother who is hard of hearing. I messed up and couldnt get it to work. I emailed Sado Tech for help and they responded very fast. They told me what to do and it worked. If I had read the directions more carefully I wouldnt have had a problem at all.

Doorbell for People with Hearing Difficulties Love this doorbell receiver. Bought the Starpoint system for our new house because we needed multiple ringers for different floors. I am partially deaf and the standard doorbell chime could not be heard throughout the house. Starpoint worked perfectly for our situation. Programming the different chimes took a little time, but the physical install was quick and easy. Weve owned this unit for about a year and have installed the same system in our neighbors home. There have been no problems with this product. We have recommended it to others and would certainly buy again.

Theyve worked great. We have two entrances The house we bought had a non working doorbell. This became something of an issue, as we kept missing deliveries. I doubt that the old doorbell system would have reached back to my office in the first place.So my wife asked me to look into a solution, and I found these. I bought the starter kit + an additional chime. I made sure to buy the ones that plugin because I just didnt want to check whether the batteries were alive every few months. Theyve worked great. We have two entrances, so the ability to program the transmitters to ring with different chimes so I know which one is being pressed is wonderful.The three receivers are spread throughout the house so that they can be heard from any room in the house.I highly recommend these, they were cheap, theyve been reliable, and were simple to deploy.

Starpoint Receiver/chime. These work perfect for our application. We had no way with our security system to hear when someone would enter the building and we were in different areas of the facility. Now we have three of these and no matter where you are it is obvious when someone opens the door.

Great for additional notification coverage. This add-on Plugin Receiver to the STARPOINT Expandable Wireless Multi-Unit Long Range Doorbell Chime Alert System was just what I needed to provide notification throughout the whole house. It makes this system a real solution to my multi-story home.

This item works great. I bought for my parents who have a ... This item works great. I bought for my parents who have a very large house that is old and the original wiring was just to far gone to reuse. The best thing about this product is that not only is it long rang however, you can expand it as necessary. We originally bought a starter pack with the two buttons and the two chimes. We then realized that we needed an additional chime and it was supper easy to ad. I really recommend this product and I am very satisfied.

love the expandable system We have went through several doorbells over the past few years. Purchased these with extra doorbell receivers to pepper all three floors of the house. Now, we never miss the doorbell ringing. Its great not to have to deal with batteries (for the ringer, but requires one for the doorbell button). Now the bell rings softly on all three floors, instead of loudly in one room.

Good system. Added additional receivers throughout the house on different floors and programmed to match already installed receivers with same chime. Additional videos were forwarded to help with the programming and mating of transmitter and receivers. Good system.

So far works great.. Just installed in my house after not having a bell for a very long time due to the fact that all the other wireless bells would stop working soon after installed. I brought the double unit with an additional receiver, installed all units 3 receivers and two transmitters in about 15 minutes. So far works great....Love it!!!!
