Sadotech Wireless Doorbell: 2 Doorbells + 1 Chime

It works, I have purchased other wireless doorbells which worked when they wanted to. Purchased the SadoTech Model CX after reading reviews and I have no regrets.

So so EASY! Wow. Old wired doorbell died. I purchased this withholding judgement as to how well it would work and I am amazed. The installation was less than 10 minutes (for both transmitters, one by the gate and one by the front door), then you just plug the receiver (chime) into an outlet you never need anyway. There were several different bells, chimes to choose from. I have a very small house so I definitely had to lower the volume, but this would work well easily in a larger home. For this price, I feel the value is much higher even than the 5 stars!

Setting ringtone A little difficult to set ring tone but it can be done.

Awesome! Im a novice at tech and this was extremely easy to install and combine with another pack of the same brand. Would recommend and purchase again!

Pretty junky considering that doorbells generally go on the outside ... They work OK. The doorbell that was placed outside only works some times, Im assuming the rain got into the internals. This one is louder, has more tones and is small enough to fit in an out of the way socket. We are both completely satisfied. I even enjoy the way it looks when I come home.

poor service One of the transmitters did not work out of box. company e mailed several times and called wanting me to take it apart and clean the contacts. change battery. pain in the neck. I threw it in the trash.

Lasts 16 months easy install Welp after 16 months it finally stopped working, I never had to change batteries on doorbell, the chime that plugs in the wall outlet has went kaput. Its sad but was worth the money.

Good for a month, that's it! Worked great for about a month then we would get rings from the back door and no one around. We took the battery out and only had the front with a different tone turned on. Then we would get rings with no one there with the disconnected back door tone. We assumed there was just stray signals but we can't duplicate the problem.

Very difficult to sync product with chimer We contacted CS a few days after purchase of product for troubleshooting - 4 attempts to further contact & still no satisfaction with product & continued confusion with customer service to troubleshoot. ITEM DOES NOT WORK & NO REFUND OFFERED - BUYER BE WARE!

Poor range, UNTIL NOW Added a two-way radio antenna to the top of receiver and this will now pick up signals thru multiple metal walls, well over 500 feet. This is the fix it needed.

Whimpy Sound Very simple, NOT loud enough. Just replaced my Etekcity brand of the same design. old one was MUCH louder.

Great Wireless Doorbell Absolutely the easiest to set up, loud enough to hear from any room of our house.I ordered one to try it out at the backdoor and then ordered another for our front door.

Nice doorbell. Easy to install. The instructions to change the chimes are easy to follow. There are quite a few chimes including ones for the holidays. I can clearly hear this doorbell while on the second floor.

seems great got this today. Few things to pointthe transmitters can be mounted either using the included double sided tapes or the anchors with screws which are also included .the transmitters has silicon gasket to prevent water going inside when installed outside, like I said installed them today so well find how good these gaskets are.u can have different ring for each transmitter and the instructions are easy to follow.I wish there is easy way to go through the different rings in the receiver to pick what you like. u need to keep pressing the button on the side and if u skip the one you like you need to go through the 52 different rings again.the highest volume of the ring is good for me. some might find it low.the rings have many xmas choices . i like that.overall so far so good. I will leave update in a month or so

Junk For the first year I loved it. It worked well and was loud enough and the sounds are nice. BUT After only a year of very occasional use (4 or so times per week) , this doorbell has stopped working. Its junk.

works great Just installed it. Front door and side door, seems to work perfectly. Very easy to install too, just plug it in and stick the buttons where you want them. Cable guy rang it today!

Keep 1st remote out of range to pair second remote I liked that once i got it working it served it's purpose as an alert system. I bought it because I did not like the other options for caregiver alarms. Most of the chimes were not going to work for my preferences- I needed a simple sound. I did not like that I had to plug it into an outlet. I would have preferred one that had a battery and was portable. I also did not like the challenge for me to set it up. I read the instructions, however I think they could redo the instructions and put in bold the key points that can be confising- ie you must put the fist remote that you paired out of range of the second remote to pair the second remote with transmitter.

So easy to install! Very happy with this doorbell! Came so quickly. It is playing Jingle Bells.

Not very loud Its not as loud as I expected it to be. Im using it in my classroom as a redirector, but I have to ring it several times before the students hear it.

So many extra features and nice touches! Product (SadoTech Model CX Wireless Doorbell ) is far better than I expected. Materials are A#1, Circuit boards are high tech surf-mount components. Can mate multiple buttons to devices as needed.So many tone patterns, each are a rich realistic sound or pattern of sounds. Four intensity settings is more than enough... lowest is still useful but very non-intrusive, max is plenty loud (likely to hear from other floor)Dog can get in/out now!

It rings Does what is advertised to do. Mainly, that is allowing solicitors and drunk college kids to now ring our doorbell which we didnt have before.But it unplugs! Which is why it gets 5-stars.

Easy installation Well that was certainly easy. Arrived via UPS and had it up and working shortly after. Used the sticky tape for installation of the outdoor units. Left it on the traditional doorbell chime. It's good and loud so we can hear it upstairs and down

Wireless doorbell does not last. 1 Receiver Plugin and 2 Remote Buttons have all cease to function. When pressed the blue light can be seen on the receiver and remote but no sound. Battery is new. it been only around 2.5 years old.

Ideal solution for areas away from doorbell at entry I may have reviewed this product before, as I have used it for about 18 months. This product is worth every penny and then some. If it fails in the future, I will replace it, probably with the same model unless there is an improved version. The wireless function is simple to install and easy to set ring tones, etc. Before, I could not hear my doorbell when in the back part of the house. Being able to have two receivers in opposite ends of the house vastly improved communication. I can set the ring tones louder for when not wearing my hearing aids. My neighbor was so impressed with my set, that I ordered the same one for her house. (Maybe thats the one I am reviewing now...)

Model CX Now Configurable and Expandable? I just purchased the SadoTech Model CX (March 2018). It is an attractive device.and easy to set up, With the many chime choices, you should be able to find one that suits you, The higher volume settings are plenty loud to be heard in adjoining rooms.In spite of the many answers given in the questions section, I was able to program a different chime for each of the two buttons. SadoTech has apparently recently upgraded this model to be expandable and compatible with the Starpoint models (again contrary to what is stated in the questions section.). The user guide that came with my SadoTech model CX has this paragraph in the opening section: Product Introduction. SadoTech latest wireless doorbells are expandable series (learning code). and can work with Starpoint series doorbells. They are configurable and can be expanded to work with 20+ overall components including additional receivers doorbell buttons and sensors. For example adding a door sensor can provide you with a door entry chime or entry alert system. Pairing additional parts can be done using a simple procedure in 10 seconds. The working range in open areas can reach 1000 feet."It would be nice if the seller (SW.LLC) would respond and confirm that this upgrade has been applied to the entire SadoTech C series as it adds considerable value to the product series. Assuming the above information is correct I do now plan to expand my system by adding a second receiver so I can hear the bell in my garage.Follow up: I took a chance and ordered a second receiver ... the Starpoint model LR. I was able to program both transmitter buttons that came with the SadoTech model CX so that they ring both the SadoTech CX receiver and the Starpoint LR receiver. The information given in the product listings questions and reviews about the SadoTech C series not being expandable and not being compatible with Starpoint is apparently no longer correct."

Its not bulky Really precise and very loud! It can be lowered if I choose. I also like the different tones.

Works exactly as indicated right out of the box. Working exactly as indicated right out of the box. I plugged it in my hallway, halfway between the front and back door, and both doorbells work perfectly. I havent played around with different tones yet, but I need to so that I know which door to answer! :)

Doesn't work First of all, I missed the return window by 1 day so I'm not happy about that. I feel like if the product stops working, I should be able to exchange at any time.I'm using this in my classroom for transitions. It worked 1 time. 1 time!!!! It was out of reach from students so never touched by kids. Never dropped. Never near water. Just never worked again. For $25 I would have at least thought I'd make it til semester. Not the 1st day of school.Additionally, when I unpacked it last week, it only had 1 button instead of 2.I shouldn't have packed it with my 'back to school? boxes, and opened it right away. Lesson learned. But I would be grateful if the company would offer a replacement.

Quick and easy installation and source identification as well, perfect. We live in the country and the way our house is situated, people can either come to the side door, or, come to the front door. Unless we actually see them coming, if were in the other back rooms we dont know which door to go to if we hear them knock at all. Also, if we are back in the computer/music room, then theres a good chance we wont hear somebody knock. With this easily installed door bell, we can not only hear someone at the door in the back room, but we know exactly which door theyre standing at by the ringtone selected for each door. I have selected a simple tone for the side door, and a more elegant tone for the front door so its easily remembered. I like the fact that it was available in brown to match the color of the log cabin.

It chimes (whistles) Dixie! I love my new doorbell! It was easy to set up with the tape. It's also water proof. My old one quit every time it rained hard on my back door. We programmed the front door with a traditional chime. The back door for friends and family, chimes Dixie. Now if I could just get the front door to chime Rocky Top!

Really nice product! Works great and I didn't have to run any wires! My doorbell stopped working and I simply could not find out why it wouldn't work anymore. Apparently, there is a very critical part that is very hard to track down as to where it is located. I immediately came to Amazon to see what was available. After reading the reviews on this product I quickly ordered one. Shipping was super fast and it works absolutely perfectly! It's very loud with an incredible selection of tunes to select from. You've got your traditional sound or an array of others to choose from. No blood, sweat or tears !

Love but for cheap screws I would have given this product a 5 star rating except for the incredibly cheap screws. Even with a pilot hole drilled these screws stripped and bent once they hit a bit of resistance even with the anchors in place. and as we all know once the head is stripped it is virtually impossible to get the screw in all the way. However, these were soft enough that I was able to break them off with a little hammer hitting screwdriver action (which should tell you something because I am 63 years old and not the strongest.Now, having gotten that out of the way I found the chime selection amazing with the number of choices. Set up was very easy to complete and the range covers a transmitter at both my front and back door.I would recommend this product but you may want to use your own screws.

Two Stars worked well for the first several months, then just died

Defective Item One of the two remote transmitters was non-functional. After a back and forth communication it was determined that it was a defective battery of which they suggested I buy one at any store. I didnt. I didnt buy this product as a defective item to have to buy extra parts to make it work. After more back and forth they finally decide to finally send me a new battery.

Well made, good value for the money. We ordered these for our apartment. They work great, very easy to install and have a lot of ringtones to choose from. Also have Christmas tones that I will be using for the holidays.

I love this! I use this doorbell in my classroom as a chime for quiet. It has so many choices but there is one that mimics the chime use in the Responsive Classroom model.

Unreliable. We loved it at first but it broke less than a month after we ordered it.

It doesnt work. This doorbell never worked properly. It would only ring sporadically and most times never at all. I have finally replaced it with a different doorbell. I would not recommend this item.

Regardless of where we put the receiver in ... tl; dr - It doesnt reliably ring, which renders it useless.Regardless of where we put the receiver in the house the doorbell would only actually register a ring 30% of the time or so. That renders the doorbell totally broken as most people dont ring your doorbell 3+ times when they come over. We regularly find people waiting on the porch with our dog barking at the door, and they say they rang the doorbell. I even put the receiver within 6 feet of the ringer, just on the other side of the wall. My own testing confirms this doorbell only rings about 30% of the time. Absolutely 100% do not buy this. Whats the point of a doorbell that only rings sometimes"?I give a bonus star because installation was very easy."

Highly recommend this product!! Price is great for a very good product. Quick delivery, looks & sounds great.. So many choices of settings. Love the second call button that can be kept with anyone where ever they go!
