I was nervous the second receiver would be too far away from the doorbell, due to being behind a few walls and rooms in a spacious office building, but it works perfectly. The volume can also get super loud, so if I'm ever going to be a distance away I can turn it all the way up and have no worries about hearing it.

So far iam happy I have it outside my apartment door ,,when iam washing dishes ,,I can't hear people knocking on my door or if the tv on to loud ,, so far I live it ,, I have the plug ones in the kitchen and one on my dinning room ,, so far iam happy with it ,,very easy to install

Great product! We purchased this doorbell to replace our old one. We live in a ranch, our house is quite long. With the old bell we could not place the receiver far enough to hear the doorbell in the back of the house. So we purchased this SADO doorbell with some skepticism. However to our surprise it works wonderful in our house. We were able to place one receiver in the back and it still connects to the front button. By placing one receiver in the front and one in the back we can hear the doorbell in the whole house. The loudest setting is very effective. We are really happy with this product.

Finally - a doorbell you can hear! I spent a lot of time looking at doorbells and was delighted to find this one! After trying out several plug-in wireless doorbells, this one was definitely the loudest. Bought the package with two receivers which allowed me to plug in one downstairs and one upstairs. And the plug-in receivers are relatively small so they dont stick out in your room. Absolutely best value for the money!

Great for two entrances Bought two sets and set different for front and back doors. That way I know which door to go to. Put one receiver for each on second floor.

Transmitters Die inside of house After a year both of my transmitters have died inside of the house. I was really happy with it overall even after one Chime stopped working! Now after a year they have both stopped and we no longer have a door bell. Sad I have to go and find something else!

Disappointed It lasted a little over a year and even during the time it was being used, it was not reliable. It would not work many times. Given the reviews, I changed the batteries a couple of times as well. Perhaps it was a faulty piece.

When someone fell against the doorbell and broke it, SadoTech replaced it at no charge. This wireless doorbell is great. It works better than I expected. I can put one of the receivers upstairs and turn up the ring volume so I can hear it in every upstairs room. And I can pick a chime or tune that suits my mood.

Easy install! You just need to plug the receiver into a standard electrical outlet and sticky the button by the door frame , then it works , just that simple! So far no issue .

Short range It barely reaches into the house. It works but you have to have the receivers really close. We have to have them 15 ft from the button.

These work great. I have one in the basement and one ... These work great. I have one in the basement and one on the second level. Our house is trimmed in white so it blends in well. The button itself however sticks out like a sore thumb. It's a bad enough looking design to begin with. The white on our exterior just makes it that much worse. Wish I could have gotten the button a different color. May try to spray paint it this summer.

Chime works less than 1/4 of the time. One ... Chime works less than 1/4 of the time. One receiver is about 15 feet away...the other is about 40 and they rarely work. Just watched the UPS delivery person push it and it never made a sound.

Worked for Six Months Installation was easy and quick. Chimes are loud.Push-button worked for about six months before becoming intermittent'sometimes it would ring on push, sometimes it wouldnt. We changed the battery, but it did not fix the problem.We paid a little bit more for this product compared to competitors due to the sheer number of 4-star+ reviews, but we are disappointed that this doorbell ultimately ended up in the trash.

No missed visitors I bought this because I am hard of hearing, and when my family or friends would come to visit I couldn't hear them knocking or ringing my door bell. I live in a small apartment, so now I have a receiver in the spare room at one end and another in the dining room at the other end. and I never miss a visitor. My cats run for cover but otherwise, I'm loving this item.

Easy install, works great Our hard wired doorbell was a casualty of a 1st floor renovation we did. The contractors inadvertently cut the wire to the chime and that wire is buried behind some custom cabinetry. Rather than hassle with trying to fish a new wire from the front door to the 2nd floor where the chime is located, we bought this Sado Tech wireless door bell.Installation is extremely easy. What takes the longest is clicking through the various chime tones trying to figure out which one we liked best. Otherwise, you are looking at 5 minute installation at most.We like that there are seasonal chimes, like for Christmas, which makes it fun for our young grandchildren.

The easiest doorbell I have ever installed This is by far the easiest doorbell I have ever installed. When I opened the package, I was skeptical of the quality of the chime sound due to the small size. But as soon as I installed it, I was pleased with the quality of the product. I plugged in one chime upstairs and other one in the living room. Both are working fine.

A doorbell that works great and has many features! So glad to have a doorbell again! Love that the receivers are plug-in and dont require batteries. The selection of melodies and volume control are a great asset. I put one on the main level and one in the lower level. Both work great and I could have different melodies on each if I wanted to. The transmitter works great and lights up for late evening guests. It does require a battery, but thats not a problem as I always have the required battery on hand.I definitely recommend this product! I forgot to mention that I bought the white set but it does come in a variety of colors also.

Easy to use and great buy. One month in and this doorbell is still working! Install is simple - just put the sticky tape on the back of the doorbell and place (option to screw in as well but I opted to try out the sticky tape first). The receivers just need to be plugged in. I love that these are fool proof and have so many options for sounds. Only downside is that they all start to sound the same so when youre trying to pair each receiver to have the same sound it starts to blur. But if thats the biggest downside Ill take it. Highly recommend.

Its been great until a week ago when it started ringing after ... Ive owned this doorbell for over a year. Its been great until a week ago when it started ringing after bedtime when there is no-one at the door. 2am, midnight, 4 am etc doorbell wake-ups scaring the whole house. Can anyone help? It is not garage door openers because my neighbors are home and in bed; not pranksters cause it has happened when I was standing by the door. Before I throw this away....Can anyone help me correct this?????

I now have a door bell on each floor Very easy to setup and works well. I now have one on the 1st floor and the 2nd floor. They have a pleasant ring and the volumes are set independently.

Works, but only plays default ringtone It works well, transmitter has good range. One of the mounting screws snapped during install, but not a big deal. The only downside is, no matter what ringtone we select, it just plays the default ringtone when someone presses the doorbell. Not bad, but I could have gotten a cheaper doorbell without the fancy ringtones.

Perfect for Loud Environments We now have around 10 of these deployed through multiple loud labs. Nothing gets peoples attention in a Lab like a Barking Dog Doorbell. Love these!

Less than a year When we first got this doorbell, we were pretty excited about it. We live in a pretty large apartment and it is hard to hear when someone knocks on the door. We used a velcro command strip and hooked it up. The doorbell does not get a lot of use but nice to have and lots of sound choices, including some for Christmas but less than a year later and the doorbell no longer works. We thought it was the battery but noticed people were still knocking so we check it again and the doorbell has just stopped working.

Didnt last Bought Jan 2017, Oct 2018 both receivers are dead. Door bell at least lights when button is pressed. Receivers have no lights, tried several outlets, even ones with working appliances. Both are dead

Could not be happier I already had a wireless doorbell but it was so old it was made by Heath/Zenith (who does not make it anymore). Anyway I found this on Amazons site and read the reviews and gave it a try. And boy am I a happy camper. Very well make, easy to install and adjustable volume and 52 variations of sound was a nice plus. I could not be happier and will always consider Sado Tech product. Read the various reviews and I think you will be convinced as well.

only last for 24 hours one of the receiver does not work after 24 hours plug into the power. The defective rate is just too high.

Awesome doorbell This is the perfect solution for a bi-level home, just plug one in upstairs, one down & since you can adjust the volume levels, you will hear the tones throughout. I love the rich and bold digital clear sound of the standard ding-dong when setting up I just kept having to hear it!!! The outside push button lights up as well as the indoor plug ins ONCE IT IS DEPRESSED, NOT CONTINUOUSLY LIT!!! It is battery powered that is why. But I chose the almond color so it would stand out against white trim so it can be identified by a visitor as a doorbell. Very,Very nice for the price! Totally satisfied, quality product

Seconds to install - fantastic product I bought this door bell because my door bell died and I could not for the life of me figure out where the actual chime box for the original door bell even is in this house....of course moments after I bought the new bell my husband pointed it out to me (DOH!). No matter. Im not an electrician, nor do I want to monkey around with the chime box or buy a volt meter to diagnose its problem. Whateves I knew I could just click one button on Amazon and have a crazy easy solution to my broken doorbell problem (both bells are not working, hence the conclusion that the problem is in the chime box) ANYWAY, I did my one click shopping and shazam, two days later the new bell is on my doorstep. I even used the old screw that already had the anchors drilled into my brick exterior. Both screws did not line up to my former classic doorbell, but its so tight that bell isnt going anywhere. The box came with 2 plug in chimes. I tested it on a plug closest to the front door first and it was nice and loud...though apparently I can change the chime, Im not picky. Then I took the plug up to the second floor to plug it in there to see if the radio signal would work. In case you think thats crazy this is an extremely old house....like 150 yrs old with 10 inch brick exterior walls and very thick plaster inner walls. Even our doors are solid wood. I dont even get cell phone signals unless Im standing next to a window, so I was a bit concerned. No matter where I put the chime it worked. So I have one plugged in near the back of the house (near the television and kitchen fan noise) and one plugged in at the 2nd floor landing. All of this took mere seconds. Im sure it will take me longer to find the wire cutters to disconnect the old door bell.

Works only intermittently I bought this May 12, 2018 but did not install it until October. It only works some of the time when someone pushes the button. Everyone has to knock.UPDATE 10/26/18: SadoTech emailed me with detailed instructions on various steps I could take to test the doorbell system. It might have worked but I was not interested in trying all those steps because (I am not tech savvy. So I decided to just donate the doorbell and purchase a Ring2 instead. When I told SadoTech that is what I would do, their really nice customer service offered to credit my card for my purchase and not require me to return it. I thought that was especially great customer service. That is why I changed my 1 star to 4 stars.These are the steps they told me to try in case you are having problems now or in the future.- Does your unit have a code on the back?- Does the faulty receiver lights up and chime when the volume button on the side is pressed?- Is the receiver located at minimum height of 3.3 feet?- Did you try moving it to a different outlet?- Does all the other parts work correctly?- Are there many walls or metal door/walls between the parts? or any electronic remote/device near? Lets try these troubleshooting steps in order to see if this help: Find the Slit on the transmitter pressed and pop it open. Remove the batterry, dry out completely and clean the contact carefully. Place the battery back in and press the black button on the PCB Board. If the transmitter lights up place the cover again.

Works Great Works if you can get idiots to use it

I have NO idea why all the 5-Star reviews. I just found out today that this thing only works some of the time from TWO different people (One a delivery guy). There is another review here saying the same thing.When it comes to a doorbell, I cannot accept that. I went out to test it, and the ringer button itself needs to be pressed exactly right. Its cheap plastic as usual so it looks like it just became frail with a few dozen or so pushes over the months (a lot of deliveries because of moving). And because of this, it will obviously only become worse and less reliable.To me, this is not acceptable. A doorbell needs to work 100% of the time.You have been warned.

Nice wireless signal system. I got these to put in my shop so the wife can signal me to come up stairs or in from my outside shop. They are loud enough to be heard above most of my equipment and the light helps if my noise level is up. I wish that the light on the front would flash longer. They do have a good range I've tested to 100 ft. You must have a 120 volt receptacle or plug for bell unit.

So much fun! Okay. It took me a while to figure out how to set both ringers to the same tone. I finally figured out to plug each one into an extension cord so that I could hold the ringer to set the tone. Once you make your choice, do NOT touch the button! Unplug it from the extension cord and plug it in where you want it to be. In our other house I had one up and one down. In this house I have one by the front door and the other in the kitchen. Everyone has been warned not to touch!!!

Nice BUT ... Nice looking with pleasant chimes and easy install BUT after a month, contacts under button are failing. Must push 2 or 3 times to sound chimes. Anybody pushing the button once wont know that the chimes didnt work.

doorbell heaven adjacent Ive been in doorbell hell for a year and have, at last, found heaven, or something fairly close.Ive been to hardware stores and online, and asked neighbors, yet have not been able to find a decent selection of bells with the configuration I need that gets good reviews. Very frustrating.Ive bought three kits and two werent worth the packaging they came in. One worked for about a week and one had to have a new battery EVERY SINGLE DAY!So it was with skepticism I ordered this but I liked that it was modular/expandable and had good reviews, and Im so glad I did. It feels great to have a reliable bell system again.There are fifty ring tones but you have to cycle through all of them which can be a pain but theres volume settings on each receiver, which is great, and fairly unique.I wish Id known this was only weather-resistant. What sense does that make? If I do anything Ill probably get the weatherproof transmitter.Otherwise very happy, confident Ill know when theres someone at the door.You get double-sided tape as well as a bracket and screws, in case you decide to commit.

I can quiet my class with just one ring of the bell! First time I used this bell as an attention-getter for my Kindergarten class, I had to ring it 23 times! After lots of practice, they 'stop, look, and listen, after the first ring!

Loud doorbell Loud and works for me since I am hearing impaired

Not waterproof as advertised. Easy to install and thought it was perfect until the next day when we had a sprinkle of rain and both chimes started chiming constantly. When I opened the package it said water resistant but it had been advertised as waterproof. Luckily amazon is good about returns and is issuing a credit to my account.

Customer support fail It was a fun doorbell; so many ring tones to choose from; some serious, some just plain fun. Our problem started when it stopped ringing. We changed batteries to no avail, so contacted the seller. SadoTech Supports reply: Thank you for your purchase. This is Gabby from SadoTech Support Center. I will be more than glad to help you but first, if you do not mind and to make this process the fastest possible for you, can you please record a very short video (less than 15 MB) where you can show me to problem and send it back to me? I wrote back that I did not have the capability of recording and sending videos, and besides; how is a video of me pushing the button with no sound coming out going to help? We push the button and the blue light does light up, but no music (and we tried multiple times) comes out. No answer to that email, or the three subsequent emails I have written.
